Overview

This policy explains what personal data Prizmfy ("Prizmfy," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use our website and apps (together, the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), display name, profile photo URL, and (if you sign in with a third-party provider) the identifiers that provider shares for that purpose.
• Content you submit — the raw text, tone, audience, and context you provide to generate content, and the content Prizmfy generates in response. If you use AI image generation, this also includes the images produced.
• Connected social accounts (optional) — if you choose to connect a supported social media account to publish directly from Prizmfy, we store the access credentials needed to post on your behalf, encrypted at rest. We only use them when you explicitly trigger a publish action.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor, which acts as Merchant of Record (see "Who we share it with" below). We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage and log data — plan tier, quota usage, generation counts, and standard technical data (IP address, browser/device type, timestamps) used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and diagnosing problems.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and operate the Service: authenticating you, generating and storing your content, enforcing plan quotas, processing subscriptions, publishing to a connected account when you ask us to, sending account-related email (password resets, billing receipts), and detecting abuse or violations of our Terms of Service. We do not use your submitted content to train any AI model, ours or a third party's.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that make Prizmfy work, each acting on our instructions:

• AI content-generation providers — process the text you submit to generate content, and image-generation requests for AI post images (Standard and Pro plans only).
• Our payment processor — processes payments as our Merchant of Record. It, not Prizmfy, is the seller of record on your billing statement and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax/VAT.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — host our database, application, and any images you generate.
• Our email delivery provider — sends transactional email (password resets, receipts).
• Sign-in and social media platforms — only if you choose to sign in or connect an account with one, to the extent needed for that sign-in or connection to work.
• A product analytics provider — receives aggregated usage events (such as account creation, content generation, and plan upgrades) so we can understand how the Service is used and improve it. We don't use this for advertising, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Prizmfy, our users, or others.

Data retention

We keep your generated content and history for as long as your account exists, so you can revisit past generations — you can delete individual history entries or favourites at any time from within the app. Deleting your account deletes your stored content and connected-account credentials; some billing records may be retained separately by our payment processor as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or US state privacy laws). You can manage most of this yourself from your account settings, or contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies required to keep you signed in and to protect the Service from abuse, and local browser storage (not a cookie) to support basic product analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

International data transfers

Our service providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries, including the United States. By using Prizmfy, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in countries with different data protection laws.

Children's privacy

Prizmfy is not directed at children, and you must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
